I almost didn't show up

I almost didn't show up

I ALMOST DIDN’T SHOW UP THIS WEEKEND.
Not because I didn't want to, but because the last three weeks, my mental health has had me riding the struggle bus.
I've been tired. Disconnected. Overwhelmed. And there have been days where simply getting through the day felt harder than it should.
But I walked into the 33rd Street Fair telling myself:
I GOT THIS.
And guess what?
I DID.
Not because I suddenly felt okay, but because sometimes strength is showing up while you're still struggling.
Mental health doesn't always give you a warning. It can show up out of nowhere and completely take over. And struggling does NOT make us weak.
Sometimes it takes incredible strength just to keep showing up.
And this weekend reminded me exactly why I do this.
Thank you to everyone who came out, stopped at our booth, supported Shattering Silence, shared your stories, had the difficult conversations, and trusted me with pieces of your lives.
Those moments mean more to me than you know.
Because this isn't just apparel.
This is my heart.
It's the conversations. The stories. The people who feel safe enough to open up. The reminder that none of us have to carry everything alone.
I struggle out loud, and I always will.
Not because I have everything figured out, but because I want people to know that you can struggle and still keep going. You can have hard days and still make a difference.
I stand behind this mission.
I stand with it.
And I AM it.
Thank you for reminding me this weekend why I love what I do so much.
We can.
We will.
And we do.
And as long as I have a voice, I will keep using it to shatter the silence.
